DISCUSSION PANELS 2026 SERIES


Exciting news! Oui French Teachers the podcast is expanding and we’re inviting teacher guests to discuss topics that are relevant and of interest to those coming into the profession, those who are in it, and those nearing the end of their career. All voices are welcomed, so consider this your official invitation to join me to record the following sessions.

JANUARY 17 – 3 PM PST

At times finding the right work-life balance can be tricky. We’ll discuss how this balance might be affected dependin on where in your career you are, what might influence this balance, and things we can do to help us get this balance.

FEBRUARY 21 – 3 PM PST

A heavy weight in teaching is marking. How do we encourage students to complete work that isn’t for marks (formative assignments) and how we manage the marking pile as well as all the other duties of the job and trying to get home to hobbies and responsibilitites outside of the job. We’ll hear what works well for some teachers and some pitfalls to avoid.

MARCH 21 -3 PM PST

We will discuss books that have helped to transform our teaching and have helped us to be more well-rounded and balanced. Whether it’s a fictional books that helped us to take a breath and focus on living outside of the classroom or a book about pedagogy and sharing ideas.

APRIL 18 – 3 PM PST

Sharing on social meda – do’s and don’t’s, things to keep in mind, who are the accounts to follow, and the community it presents for teachers.

Discussions will be held on Zoom, and will be recorded by Oui French Teachers.
